This Teaching Workshop is designed for Yoga Teachers, Body Workers, Massage Therapists, Health Care Professionals and Experienced Students who are looking to safely experience and broaden their therapeutic methods into classes and private sessions. You will experience, demonstrate and teach a number of Hanna Somatic exercise movements that can be incorporated into yoga classes, therapeutic modalities and also may act as a stand-alone class.

You will earn up 17 CEU’s with Yoga Alliance. This course also counts as a specialty workshop toward HereNowYoga’s 300 Advanced Yoga Teacher Training Program.

This training will reveal how yoga is especially suited to the needs of our aging community and provide valuable tools and resources for bringing accessible yoga to this demographic. The course includes a manual with instructions for six seated based classes, a relaxation script, and articles on yoga, anatomy, aging, age related illnesses and more.

Upon completion of the weekend, students receive Certification in Chair Yoga with 18 CEUs for Yoga Alliance. This course also counts as a specialty workshop toward HereNowYoga’s 300 Advanced Yoga Teacher Training program.

You will gain knowledge towards sequencing prenatal yoga classes for relaxation, strength and optimal physical alignment that will assist in a healthy pregnancy, labor and delivery.

This training is available to all yoga teachers who have completed or are pursuing a min. 200 hr YTT, as well as health and wellness professionals in the birthing and maternal care communities.  The training also counts as a "Specialty Workshop" in the HereNowYoga 300 Hour Teacher Training Program.
