Inspiration teacher, Letitia Walker and her website, Live Yoga Now. One of her recent blog posts led us to this post by Eric Barker about a recent book called The Upward Spiral by Alex Korb.
According to Eric's summary of the research, there are four steps to make yourself happy.
- Ask “What am I grateful for?” No answers? Doesn’t matter. Just searching helps.
- Label those negative emotions. Give it a name and your brain isn’t so bothered by it.
- Decide. Go for “good enough” instead of “best decision ever made on Earth.”
- Hugs, hugs, hugs. Don’t text — touch.
